It's hard to get me not to see STS9, but this was worth it. More then worth it. Most of the people at this show it was thier last SCI show. A monumental event, and they played up to it. Keller comming out was just the icing on the cake. This show made me a HUGE fan. I saw this show live at Bonnaroo, but the recording of it is stellar as well. It's one I crave when I haven't listened to it for a while. You could feel this overwhelming sense of something at the show, I believe now it was the fact that fans new they were not going to be together much longer. Powerful, very good, groovy jams. I ripped the three CDs for the whole show and I still wish it was longer. I feel that the Cheese had really spiraled more into electronica towards the end. I am really true to the 99-2001 era of these guys....but holy cow the jams that became possible once they dabbled more and more into the electronic world....joining sounds like SSS9 and Logic into the deal....these guys are truely as revolutionary to music as the beatles...they seemed to effortlessly take it there just wanting hang out and jam....open to new stuff.....I really miss em.....EL Padj The Historical Path of the Cheese!
